More than 600 girls (adult children of sex workers and girls rescued from sex trafficking) have been placed in gainful employment including entry-level IT and retail jobs.

After receiving ASSET training, 15% of the participants went on to pursue higher education.

We have received funding and support from large corporations including Dell, IBM, Infosys, TATA Consultancy Services, and Intel as well as foundations such as Global Giving, Sooch Foundation, Saxena Foundation, and Prasad Family Foundation.

ENERGY, EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION

In partnership with Ruralshores, we are creating a BPO (business process outsourcing) center to employ girls trained by ASSET in Forbesgunj, Bihar and to offer services to international clients. A biomass power plant needs to be built to power the BPO and training center since electricity and energy are scarce in Forbesgunj. The energy from the power plant will also be used for the local community.
